Many patients prefer to schedule a phone or Skype counseling session (30, 60 or 90 minutes) with Dr. Lawenda for integrative oncology. At the time of purchase, you will be given access to the all of the online modules for the IntegrativeOncology-Essentials (IOE) Premium Program. During your counseling session with Dr. Lawenda, he will review the pertinent aspects of the IntegrativeOncology-Essentials (IOE) Premium Program as they pertain to you. You will have the opportunity to asked questions about integrative approaches to care. Unlike with the in-office counseling session, Dr. Lawenda is not able to prescribe treatments or make any diagnoses due to restrictions of what is allowable by state medical boards and laws. This should not deter most patients from a phone or Skype counseling session, as they he can give recommendations that you can use with your own cancer care team or other local providers.
